With just three rounds to the Western Australian State Title Series, Nate Tomerini has come out swinging in the first two rounds of the series championship.
Competing in the 7-u10yrs age group Tomerini has been faced to do battle with the mixed competitors of the 10-u12's to make the full grid of racing in the 65cc class.
A tricky first-round mudder at the Wanneroo Junior Motocross Club made for a tough day in the office. Tomerini made amends to the track conditions after race one with the help of some line and technique discussions with coach Gavin and father Paul. Nate managed to keep it on two wheels for races two and three coming away with a 3rd O/A for the day. A great effort to enter the first round of the series.
With impressive results a week before the next state round at the Chidlow Two-Day Challenge, this had the four three seven rider feeling a lot of confidence heading to his home track at the Chidlow Motocross Club on fresh Mandurah City Yamaha machine for round two. "Round two was an absolute ripper" Nate said.
It was a great day for the Twist it Moto team rider. Finishing 1-2-2 for 2nd overall and an almost faultless day. Nate ripped some awesome starts and some amazing holeshots. The young gun showed great speed proving his place up front with the front runners.
Coming into the final round Nate has been doing a little more sand training as he prepares himself to battle a 7 point difference between himself and an equal first between Deegan Fort and Ollie Birkitt for the 7-u10 65cc Western Australian Championship.
We wish you the best of luck of course would like to thank all of the following sponsors for making this possible for Nate and the Twist it Moto team.
